Clunes Book Town

I will have my stall of books for signings and sale at tent ‘F’ in the main street in Clunes and will be selling 3 books :

Running from dawn to dusk in the historic township of Clunes in Regional Victoria. A two day festival full of author and artist talks, workshops and live entertainment for the whole family.  Discover the outdoor book bazaar with over a hundred stall holders and immerse yourself in Clunes from cover to cover. It’s worth the visit.

This March 23rd and 24th, the historic and beloved Clunes transforms once again into a hub of literary discovery and cultural celebration. Offering free entry, opening the doors wide to book enthusiasts of all ages to dive into the vibrant storytelling and rich ideas Clunes Booktown is celebrated for.

This year’s festival boasts an impressive array of authors and thinkers, including luminaries like Helen Garner, Tony Birch, Sofie Laguna, Alice Pung, Maxine Beneba Clarke, and Toni Jordan.

Prepare to be engaged by panel highlights such as ‘Making Queer History,’ where Michael Earp, Wayne Murdoch, and Ange Bailey, guided by Dennis Altman, will explore the importance of preserving queer narratives. ‘Building a Career’ presents a compelling dialogue with First Nations chef, restaurateur, and author Nornie Bero, and academic Crystal McKinnon, moderated by Tony Birch—highlighting their journeys towards empowerment and recognition.

Wander through our expansive open-air book bazaar filled with new, second-hand, and rare treasures, enjoy the all-day music, grab a bite to eat from one of the food vans, and take part in a plethora of family-friendly activities.

Circle these dates for a weekend filled with celebration, exploration, and community, set against the backdrop of Victoria’s literary heartland.
